OVER THE WORLD is the annual official 3-on-3 tournament hosted by FRENCH-BREAD. The final are always held at Club SEGA Shinjuku.
The winners are typically given various UNI-related merchandise and illustrations with signatures from either the voice cast or the character designer.
OVER THE WORLD[]
The very first OVER THE WORLD tournament took place about a half-a-year after the game had launched in the arcades. The finals were held on March 25th, 2013[1]

The second tournament was held about a half-a-year after Exe:Late launched in the arcades. The finals were held on March 21st, 2014[2]

The third tournament was held about a half-a-year after Exe:Late[st] launched in the arcades. The finals were held on January 17th, 2015[3]

Struggle Overture[]
The fourth official tournament was a special exception. Unlike the others, this one was a 2-on-2 tournament which is also why it didn't use the regular OVER THE WORLD name. The finals were held on March 26th, 2016[4]

OVER THE WORLD -continuation-[]
The fifth tournament was held about four months after the so-called "final balance patch" for Exe:Late[st] had launched in the arcades. The finals were held on May 27th, 2017.[5]

OVER THE WORLD -successively-[]
The sixth official tournament was held after the Version 3.30 update. The finals were held on July 15th, 2018.

This is also the first OVER THE WORLD tournament to feature an official announcement from French Bread. After the finals, they announced the release date for the PC version of UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH Exe:Latest.
