Komatsu (小松(コマツ)) is a member of the EFG student group. She is assigned to keep an eye on Tsurugi's actions.

Information

Komatsu has a short brown haircut and she wears a long-sleeved, white school uniform typical to the school she goes. She uses an armband with the EFG's logo on it and wears yellow-framed glasses.

Komatsu has a very composed air about her. She acts very serious and is strict when it comes to the regulations of EFG. She is very handy with paper work and holds the position of a secretary in the Student Council.

Komatsu attends the same school as Tsurugi and Hyde, meaning the school where the EFG operates from. She is of the same age as Tsurugi who refers to her with a nickname Komacchan (コマっちゃん). She was assigned by the Student Council President to keep an eye on Tsurugi's actions and thus has some knowledge about his friend Hyde as well.

Story

Episode: A False Identity, A True Self (偽りの身分、本当の自分)
Komatsu observes Tsurugi's investigation of new In-Births which eventually leads them to Phonon. Komatsu demonstrates how handy she is with papers and technology as she registers Phonon's contact info. She also explains some of the details of EXS to Phonon is a very organized and understandable way.

Komatsu isn't pleased when Tsurugi starts to act on his own and brings a deal of temporary alliance to Phonon. He even hands over one of their precious Void Fragments without the permission from the Student Council President.

Arcade Mode (アーケードモード)
UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II: [Sys:Celes]
While she has no new lines of dialogue, Komatsu is mentioned at the end of Tsurugi's Arcade Story and makes a physical appearance in Phonon's.

Abilities

As a member of EFG, she is confirmed to be an In-Birth, but the story doesn't give any hints about what her abilities are. She wields a pair of short swords with wide curves on them.
